The Prize Pool
The Prize Pool is a designated store-of-value address that will hold XXS, ETH and USD.
The main goals of the Prize Pool are:
- to supplement winnings on some of the Runs
- to create special events, with fixed rewards
- to create special events with minimum guaranteed pots
- to generate staking rewards from Blast native yield
Prize Pool Funding
- Funded initially from the XXS token sale and token allocation
- Part of every active pot that is won goes to the Prize Pool (0.5-3% of every active pot)
- Part of the Blast native yield that the Prize Pool earns goes into it (50% of Blast native yield)
The Prize Pool can take advantage of the Blast native yield feature and generates revenue for its ETH and USDB reserves on the Blast L2. (4% APY Blast native yield)
- 50% of generated earnings is directed towards Staking Rewards
- 50% of generated earnings is directed towards the Prize Pool
